Half Birthday Boy Photo Session Riverview Florida

While I was in college, I started babysitting for a sweet family with two girls and one little boy. They were precious kids and they taught me so much. To be honest, they were my first ever three-kid-babysitting-gig and I was horrified. But as I kept getting asked to come back, I realized it wasn't so scary after all-- and clearly I was doing something right.

From day one, I was pretty open about the fact that I was engaged and would be getting married and moving away in 2015. It seemed forever far away; but like all exciting things in life, the time went faster than I realized. Late night convos after babysitting turned to texts and soon Lisa was more than the mom of the kids I was watching, she was a friend. And when it came time to plan my wedding, her creative expertise was truly invaluable. She helped design....no no....she designed my wedding backdrop and it is still one of my favorite wedding details. :)

Okay okay, what does this have to do with these precious half birthday boy photos? Well that same family has since welcomed two new additions and it has been so fun watch their family grow. While I was spending time in Florida this summer, I was so happy to get to photograph this little half birthday dude.

One of my greatest joys as a photographer is making photos that will hang on people's walls for a life time. And y'all, my girl Lisa hangs some pictures.
