Garcia Wedding: Secret Garden

Julieth and Esteban with forever hold a special place in my heart! I was hanging upstairs with my husband one night when I got a DM from a sweet girl on Instagram, asking me to photograph her intimate elopement-style wedding. First of all, I was horrified and unsure-- then I was flattered and enthused! "I'd love to shoot your wedding, when is it?!" "In less than a month!" 😱

Long story short, the week of the wedding arrived and Colorado dumped record amounts of snow across the state. I couldn't meet with the couple at the venue because there was so much snow coming down and most people even had snow days for the day. I mustered up the courage to drive and I met the couple at a Starbucks. (I slid my car right through a stop sign on the way to the meeting because the ice was so slick.)

When I met them, I instantly knew I was where I needed to be and doing what I was supposed to be doing! I was so excited to photograph this sweet love story.

It was a frigid Friday afternoon in Colorado, but Julieth was a graceful, beautiful bride! I am forever grateful for the opportunity to photograph this special day! Enjoy these faves from their special day.
